VIRTVS EXRCIT / STR Two captives seated at base of vexillum inscribed VOT / XX. Cf. RIC 274 (for prototype). Somewhat smoothed, otherwise, about extremely fine.


The style of this coin is clearly unofficial, indicating that it is a contemporary 'barbarous' imitation. It copies RIC 274 (Treveri), but with spelling errors and rather crude execution.
